Xiaomi Unveils Redmi Note 12 and 12C: Budget-smartphones with High-end Features

INDIA: The latest budget smartphones from Xiaomi’s Redmi have been released in India and are now available for purchase on Amazon, Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi Homes. These two new Redmi smartphones come in different variants at varying prices, and there are also special offers available for buyers.

Redmi Note 12: Price and Features 

The Redmi Note 12’s 6GB+64GB storage model is priced at 14,999, while the 6GB+128GB variant costs 16,999. 

The phone features a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display with a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz, Full-HD+ resolution, and 1200 nits of peak brightness.

The smartphone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 SoC coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of storage capacity. 

The rear camera setup comprises a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera lens, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, the phone has a 13 MP sensor at the front.

Redmi Note 12 runs on MIUI 14, which is based on the Android 13 operating system. It comes with an IP53-rated body design and is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with a 33-watt charger.

Redmi 12C: Price and Features 

Redmi 12C starts at 8,999 for the 4GB+64GB model, while the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at 10,999. The smartphone sports a 6.71-inch HD+ screen with 500 nits of peak brightness and a 60 Hz refresh rate. 

The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor and runs on MIUI 13, which is based on the Android 12 operating system.

Redmi 12C features a 5,000mAh battery with a micro USB port and 10W charging. The rear camera setup comprises a 50MP primary camera, and the front camera is a 5MP shooter.
