Design-wise, the Redmi 12 5G is expected to showcase a crystal glass back panel with mesmerizing rainbow hues, adding a touch of elegance to the device.

The front of the phone will sport a 6.79-inch FHD+ display, offering a high refresh rate of 90Hz and a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display’s punch-hole cutout will house the front-facing camera, maximizing the screen real estate for an immersive viewing experience.

Powering the Redmi 12 5G is a hefty 5,000mAh battery, ensuring that users can go about their day without constantly worrying about running out of juice. Additionally, the smartphone will come pre-installed with an Android 13-based MIUI 14 skin, offering the latest features and optimizations right out of the box.

Apart from the smartphone, Xiaomi will also launch the Redmi Watch 3 Active during the same event. The smartwatch is anticipated to offer the same impressive specifications as its global model, and it will be available in two vibrant colors.

With an expected price of under Rs 5,000 in India, Xiaomi claims that the Redmi Watch 3 Active will be an affordable and feature-rich wearable.
