INDIA: After creating a box office tsunami, Sita Ramam will soon be available on OTT. The streaming release date for the period romantic drama film has been set. The movie, starring Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur, will be available on Amazon Prime Video later this month.
On August 5, 2022, the Hanu Raghavapudi-helmed film Sita Ramam made its box office debut. Since then, it has accumulated increasing figures. The romance-drama movie had a sluggish start, but as the number of box office days increased, it started to generate an excellent pickup.
Sita Ramam, starring Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur, bagged the OTT release date
The Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur-starrer Sita Ramam debuted on the big screens in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. Pen Studios released the romance-drama movie in the North region on September 2, 2022, in response to the audience’s strong demand for the Hindi dub version.
Amazon Prime Video shared the OTT release date of Sita Ramam. The streaming platform tweeted, “A tale of love and love letters that stands timeless. #SitaRamamOnPrime, Sept 9 @dulQuer @mrunal0801 @iamRashmika.’’
According to the tweet, Sita Ramam will be available on Amazon Prime Video on September 9, 2022. The Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam versions of the romance-drama film will be available for streaming. It is expected that due to the film’s recent North release and strong box office performance, the OTT debut of the Hindi dubbed version has not yet been announced.
Hanu Raghavapudi’s Sita Ramam box office performance was phenomenal, putting the feature in a commercially successful film category. The romance-drama movie also received positive reviews from critics.

Hanu Raghavapudi added his directorial vision to Sita Ramam while he also penned the story. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, and Sumanth in pivotal roles. Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema produced the film, while Annapurna Studios distributed the epic romance movie. Recently, Pen Studios distributed the film in the North region.
In addition to Sita Ramam, Dulquer Salmaan will be next seen in R. Balki’s Chup: Revenge Of The Artist. The mystery-thriller film will also star Sunny Deol, Pooja Bhatt, and Shreya Dhanwanthary at the forefront. The movie will debut in theatres on September 23, 2022.
