UNITED STATES: WhatsApp is developing several updates to enhance the user experience. According to sources, the instant messaging app is working on upgrading messages using their altered version for a future update of the app. Users will be able to edit sent messages once the feature is released.

The Google Play Beta Program will roll out the “edit messages” feature, bringing the software version to 2.22.20.12. Additionally, the website published the first screenshot of the function, which is currently under development.

Given that it is still in the development phase, it is unclear when this feature will be available.

According to sources, this is a clue that WhatsApp is still working on this feature because WhatsApp is now working on the procedure that will allow the app to update the message using its updated version.

When you receive an amended message from the receiver or a connected device, you must upgrade WhatsApp if you are using an outdated software release.

The ability to hide the online status was just made available to some iOS beta users through the Meta-Owned app. Earlier this week, a similar function was made available to some Android beta users.

According to reports, WhatsApp users can use this function to restrict who can view their last seen from knowing when they are online.

The app is also working on sending a new in-app survey conversation to a very small number of users to get input. After obtaining an invitation, users can provide feedback on new features, products, and other items. The request for input is optional, so users are free to decline it.

It was recently claimed that Twitter would soon get an edit button. According to reports, the firm is developing a new edit button function that might let users alter tweets up to 30 minutes after they are sent.

However, it is said that this feature is charged and that customers must pay close to Rs 400 to use the edit option.

However, one cannot make any claims regarding a product being internally tested in smaller groups before it is made available to the general public.
