INDIA: The launch date for the Vivo V25 Pro smartphone in India has been officially announced. The handset’s availability information has been made public. The V25 Pro, a new V-series smartphone, will soon be unveiled by Vivo in India. The business made every effort to generate excitement for its new V-series product. For instance, earlier this week, the official Vivo India Twitter account posted a brief teaser video for the device.
The firm just announced that the smartphone will go on sale beginning August 17 on Flipkart, in Vivo stores, and through other offline retail channels. Due to the Fluorite AG Glass, the Vivo V25 Pro will have a colour-changing rear panel identical to the V23. We’ve also seen Vivo implement this in earlier models of the V23 series.
It is being speculated, that the smartphone will have the model number V2158. According to the sources, the phone would be powered by the same MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC and Mali-G77 MC9 GPU found in the OnePlus Nord 2T and Oppo Reno 8 5G.
The Funtouch OS 12 is based on Android 12 and 12GB of RAM that come standard on the Vivo V25 Pro. An optical image stabilization-capable triple camera system with a 64MP primary sensor may be included on the phone’s back. Although not much is known about the display, the manufacturer claims it will have a refresh rate of 120Hz.
In the meantime, a different leak suggested that the Vivo V25 Pro’s rear panel had a colour-changing technology using Fluorite AG Glass. With the Oppo F21 Pro, Oppo has tried a related technology. According to reports, the phone has an AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full-HD+ resolution.
The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G‘s MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor is supposed to power the smartphone. With the exception of the curved screen, we can anticipate some similarities between the standard Vivo V25. Near the debut, we shall learn more about the device. The current-generation V23 costs Rs 29,990, and the V23 Pro is available for Rs 38,990. The cost of the smartphones in the Vivo V25 series may fall within the same range.
