INDIA. Mumbai: The anticipation for Atlee’s directorial “Jawan” has reached new heights with the release of Vijay Sethupathi’s poster.
Playing the role of the antagonist, Vijay’s intense look in the poster has garnered immense attention and created a buzz among fans.
The film, which also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara, has been a topic of discussion ever since its making was announced.
Red Chillies Entertainment, on its Twitter handle, shared the poster and wrote, “He’s watching you closely! Watch out for him. #Jawan.” This marks Vijay’s Hindi film debut, although he has already made his way into the Hindi OTT space with Prime Video’s crime thriller “Farzi,” alongside Shahid Kapoor, Raashi Khanna, and Kay Kay Menon. Moreover, he will share screen space with Katrina Kaif in Sriram Raghavan’s upcoming film “Merry Christmas.”
The movie also features prominent actors like Nayanthara, Priyamani, Ridhi Dogra, Sanya Malhotra, and Deepika Padukone, besides Shah Rukh Khan.
Recently, Khan unveiled a preview of “Jawan,” showcasing his bald look and dancing to a Hemanta Mukhopadhyay song inside a hijacked train. The film is set to release worldwide on 7th September 2023 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
As Shah Rukh Khan continues to impress audiences with his versatile roles, “Jawan” adds to the list of his highly anticipated projects, including “Pathaan” and “Dunki,” helmed by Rajkumar Hirani.
