INDIA: Liger, starring Vijay Deverakonda, receives a new poster. The Arjun Reddy famed star sparks quite a buzz on social media with his nude appearance in the newly released poster. After entertaining audiences’ interest with features such as Geetha Govindam, Taxiwala, NOTA, and Dear Comrade, the south superstar is poised to debut his pan-India release.
The Liger poster spotlight Vijay Deverakonda’s new look
The Geetha Govindam superstar moved to social media to drop his flaming look from Liger on his Twitter account. Along with the poster, Vijay Deverakonda captioned the post, “A Film that took my everything. As a performance, Mentally and physically, my most challenging role. I will give you everything! Coming Soon #LIGER.”
The recently unveiled Liger poster has Vijay Deverakonda in an entirely naked posture. The actor may be seen in his bold muscular style, clutching a bunch of roses in his gloved hand. The poster also shows off his imposing body, complete with six-pack abs. Vijay’s fiery appearance is heightened through the wording on the poster, which reads, “Saala Crossbreed.”
The cast of the film assembles a unique spectrum of talents
Liger is an upcoming Indian sports action film all set to release under the directorial vision of Puri Jagannadh, which stars Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Pandey, Ronit Roy, and Ramya Krishnan in the lead roles. Karan Johar and Charmme Kaur co-produced the film, which was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi.
Aside from the Indian ensemble, the film also features Mike Tyson, an American former professional boxer. On Mike’s 56th birthday, his entire Liger team wished him all the best. Vijay Deverakonda greeted him with an Instagram post with a video of the whole Liger cast. The video was captioned with, “Happy Birthday @miketyson. I never even dreamt of meeting you, forget all the things I got with you. You are a memory for life, #Liger.”
Liger chronicles Vijay Deverakonda’s MMA adventure in the titular role and is set to hit theatres on August 25, 2022.
