INDIA: Uri: The Surgical Strike fame Vicky Kaushal is reigning over the Bollywood industry at the moment.
Recently, he joined hands with Laxman Utekar and Dinesh Vijan for a high-budget action movie.
As per reports, the movie will be based on a historical warrior film. The upcoming project will be made under the banner of Vijan’s Maddock Films.
As per reports, Vicky has agreed to the script but has not signed the film yet. Additionally, the film’s script is under process, and the title hasn’t been decided.
The film is set to be made in a small-town story, as Utekar is fond of making such stories. Some of his successful movies included ‘Luka Chuppi’ and ‘Mimi’.
However, this time he is planning to do a commercial movie.
According to a source, “Laxman is bored with doing small-town stories like Luka Chuppi and Mimi. He wants to make mainstream commercial films now, and this warrior film with Vicky Kaushal is his first attempt at that. It’s kind of a passion project for him, and he wants to mount it on a much bigger scale than any Maddock Films project to date. Laxman and Vicky had a great bond while shooting their first film and are excited to collaborate again on a story they are both equally passionate about.”
On the work front, Vicky is waiting for the release of the ‘Govinda Naam Mera’ film. He is also shooting for a film based on the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.
