INDIA. Gujarat: On 28th February, Unity of Nations Action for Climate Change Council (UNAccc) SDG World, an international non-profit organization affiliated to the United Nations and NITI Aayog has been appointed Indian-born Spanish entrepreneur Roshan Bhondekar as the new Global SDG Ambassador to strengthen the organization’s mission globally. UNAccc is affianced to develop a strategic framework for India, in identifying low carbon growth prospects, Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 2030 implementation and facilitates a series of planned and scaled-up programs, determined for sinking the carbon intensity of the economy at the macro and sectoral levels, by generating synergies and addressing the barriers.
“UNAccc is an Indian public policy research Institute at Gujarat, dedicated to protecting Planet, Mother Earth from Global Warming, and other adverse influences of Climate Change. We are delighted to be associated with Mr. Roshan Bhondekar. We are a Leading SDG Awareness, Education Organization, having 70 Nations Presence, around 149 Board Members from 70 Countries, and having 100k + Members. The addition of Bhondekar to our team will give more strength to our mission globally,” said Dr. Rajat Sharma Global Chairman of UNACCC.

In addition to above announcement, an Indonesian social activist Mr. Ishak was appointed as an UNAccc SDG Ambassador.
Unity of Nations Action for Climate Change Council’s (UNACCC) vision
In September 2021, Unity of Nations Action for Climate Change Council (UNACCC) launched Global SDG Leaders Magazine. While talking to UNACCC officials, they mentioned: “Many top Leaders of our country and corporates are doing Inspiring works in this regard and to cover their stories, experiences, and interviews UNACC has launched its magazine by the name of, Global SDG leaders on the auspicious occasion of Vishwakarma Day”.
UNACCC setting out an ambitious and transformational vision. “We envision a world free of hunger, poverty, disease, and want, where all life can thrive. We foresee a world free of fear and viciousness. A world with universal literacy. A world with reasonable and universal access to quality education at all levels, to health care and social protection, where physical, mental, and social well-being are assured. A world where we reaffirm our promises regarding the human right to safe drinking water and sanitation and where there is improved hygiene; and where food is sufficient, safe, affordable, and nutritious. A world where human habitats are safe and sustainable and where there is universal access to affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy,” said Dr. Rajat Sharma.
