United Arab Emirates. Dubai. The UAE Government announced the granting of 10-year Golden Residency Visas to high school graduates and their families. Students with average 95 per cent score are eligible for the golden visa. The visa will also be granted to the families of high school toppers.
Applications for Golden Residency can be submitted through the Emirates Schools Establishment. The aim of the prgram is to encourage the efforts of such outstanding students and their families. It is also in keeping with the government’s interest to create an attractive and encouraging environment for the talented people, and to attract exceptional minds and talents to be part of the UAE’s development.

The Golden residency is granted to outstanding students and school toppers who have obtained an average rate of at least 95 per cent in their high school certificate from public or private schools, as well as to university students from inside or outside the country who have a cumulative GPA (Grade Point Average) of no less than 3.75 (or its equivalent) in specific scientific disciplines. The visa will also include the students’ families.
The UAE hounoured some of the worlds most outstanding talents with the golden visa which allows the recipient to live in the UAE for up to 10 years. The golden visa is renewable every decade.
The move is in appreciation to the worlds most innovative and brilliant talents across all fields and to motivte them to become residents in the UAE. Golden residency is also granted to holders of specialised degrees in artificial intelligence, big data, or epidemiology and viruses.
