Spain: Spain is one of the world’s leading tourist destination, thanks to the country’s variety of attractions is reopening its doors again for tourists from all over the world. In fact, Spain has the distinction of being the world’s second country with the most World Heritage cities, the third in terms of natural areas declared Biosphere Reserves or the country with the most Blue Flag beaches in the entire Northern Hemisphere.

One such event is the Spanish Tourism Direct Day that promotes tourism for Indian entities and companies. For a whole day, a delegation of Spanish bodies and companies show their ideas and projects for tourism to more than 350 Indian counterparts.

A big thrust is given to MICE and luxury tourism and attention to work as a platform for companies and experts of both countries to boost Indo-Spanish tourism trade and relations.

The Tourism Institute of Spain (TURESPAÑA) is the General Administration of the State for the promotion abroad of Spain as a tourist destination. It works in the planning, and development to promote Spain as a tourist destination in international markets.
