UNITED STATES: Tori Kelly, the Grammy-winning singer, was urgently taken to the hospital in critical condition after collapsing during a night out with friends in Los Angeles, according to US media.
The distressing incident happened on Sunday night, as reported by a US-based media portal.
The 30-year-old Grammy winner reportedly passed out on Sunday night while out to dinner with her friends in downtown Los Angeles after complaining that her heart was beating rapidly. She was subsequently transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre, where she is currently receiving ICU care.

She unexpectedly fainted and became unconscious. Reports indicate that she is presently undergoing medical treatment for blood clots around her essential organs, and the situation is being described as “really serious.”
Her friends took prompt action and opted to transfer her to Cedars-Sinai, one of the nation’s leading hospitals, instead of dialling for an ambulance.
According to information from the ICU, medical professionals have detected blood clots in Tori’s legs and lungs, and they are presently investigating the possibility of clots near her heart.
During her time in the hospital, Tori has experienced periods of consciousness and unconsciousness, as reported in the publication.
Tori Kelly’s career commenced during her childhood when she took part in different TV competition shows, including American Idol in 2010, which gained her recognition.
