UNITED STATES: The all-new Nokia 2780 Flip has been officially launched in the US. A follow-up to the feature phone Nokia 2720 Flip, which launched in 2019 and has been released by HMD Global. After three years, HMD Global unveiled the Nokia 2780 Flip, which is a feature phone.

The stand-out features of the Nokia 2780 Flip include USB Type-C connection, a long battery life, and a clamshell design.

All contemporary Nokia feature phones run on KaiOS, a Linux distribution.

Nokia 2780 Flip Specifications

The Snapdragon 215, an advance from the Snapdragon 205 that drives the Nokia 2780 Flip, is at the heart of the device. HMD Global claims that in addition to 802.11n Wi-Fi networks, the former also supports Bluetooth 4.2 and LTE connectivity.

The gadget also features a secondary panel measuring 1.7 inches wide with a native resolution of 160 x 128 pixels, in addition to a 2.7-inch primary display with a resolution of 320 × 240 pixels.

HMD Global also adds a 5 MP camera and an LED flash to the device to enhance low-light shooting.

Thanks to its 1,450 mAh battery, the Nokia 2780 Flip is said to last up to 18 days in standby mode as well. The detachable battery is a common feature of feature phones, which is always useful.

According to HMD Global, shipments of the Nokia 2780 Flip should begin on November 17. However, pre-orders won’t start until November 15, at which point you may buy the smartphone in blue or red for US$89.99.

For reference, all colours contain a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer, as well as 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of expandable storage out of the box.
