INDIA: Renowned filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri is set to captivate audiences once again with his upcoming web series, “The Kashmir Files Unreported.”
As a sequel to his critically acclaimed movie “The Tashkent Files” and “The Kashmir Files,” this 7-part documentary promises to delve deeper into the harsh realities of genocides.
Produced in collaboration with Pallavi Joshi’s IamBuddha Entertainment and Media LLP, the series will premiere on ZEE5, though the exact release date is yet to be announced.
The two-minute trailer has already created a buzz, featuring powerful conversations with historians, experts, real-life survivors, and their families.
Through poignant anecdotes, survivor testimonies, and archival footage, “The Kashmir Files Unreported” will provide an in-depth exploration of the historical, ethical, and geopolitical aspects surrounding the tragic events in the Kashmir Valley during the 1990s.
The web series not only aims to shed light on the appalling massacre and genocide of Kashmiri Pandits but also delves into the circumstances that led to the abrogation of Article 370 and its impact on Kashmir today.
