INDIA: The Tovino Thomas-starrer Thallumaala debuted at the box office on August 12, 2022, and has since collected successive numbers. Following its box office success, the Khalid Rahman-directed film is set to be released on OTT. The movie will be available to stream on Netflix, scheduled to begin this month.
Thallumaala emerged as a perfect combination of action and comedy that successfully drew audiences to the big screen. The Tovino Thomas-starrer film also garnered highly positive responses from critics. The movie also dominated the box office, landing in the biggest hits category of Malayalam films released this year.

Netflix India South unveiled the Thallumala OTT release date. The streaming giant tweeted, “Manavaalan Thug is on the way, which can mean only one thing. We’ve got a Thallumaala incoming! Thallumaala is coming to Netflix on the 11th of September. #ThallumaalaOnNetflix.’’
Netflix will release the Tovino Thomas-starring film Thallumaala. Starting on September 11, 2022, viewers will be able to stream the action-comedy movie. One month after its theatrical release, the film will make its streaming platform debut.
Khalid Rahman’s directorial, Thallumaala, starred Tovino Thomas and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead roles. Shine Tom Chacko, Chemban Vinod Jose, Binu Pappu, Lukman Avaran and Johny Antony also joined the ensemble cast in pivotal roles.
Muhsin Parari’s provided the story, which played a significant role in the perfect fusion of action and comedy. He also penned the screenplay for the film, along with Ashraf Hamza. Jimshi Khalid’s cinematography elevated the visual experience with an excellent cinematic impression.
Vishnu Vijay composed the music for the film, and Nishadh Yusuf edited the movie. The perfect collaboration of talented cast and crew members delivered the engaging concept that proved successful for the film’s box-office run.
Thallumaala was bankrolled by Ashiq Usman under the banner of Ashiq Usmaan Productions. Plan B Entertainments also produced the action-comedy movie. Central Pictures distributed the hit Malayalam film.
