INDIA: Dhanush announces his next Hindi film! The master of highly refined romantic love stories, Aanand L. Rai, whose films are more inclined towards obsessive and compulsive desires, has announced his second movie, ‘Tere Ishk Mein’.
The film marks Rai’s third collaboration with Dhanush. Rai made the announcment of the upcoming feature on the 10th anniversary of Raanjhanaa. The filmmaker’s last movie in 2021, Atrangi Re, starring Sara Ali Khan, Dhanush, and Akshay Kumar, was released on OTT.
The director, Aanand L. Rai, opted for his social media handle and made the announcement by writing, “Kuch kahaniyan kisi purane dost jaisi mil jaati hain! Jo haath nahin milaati, seedhe aake gale lag jaati hain… 10 saal pehle ek aisi hi kahani mili thi humein… Kundan ki kahani. Dost tha mera, par jee naa saka… uska mood nahi tha jeena ka!”
It translates to, “Some stories meet like an old friend! The one who does not shake hands, directly comes and hugs… 10 years back we had received a similar story… Kundan’s story. He was my friend, but could not live… He was not in the mood to live!”
He further wrote, “Ab 10 saal baad phir ek kissa aaya hai; Kundan aur ye ladka ek se hi hain; bus iska mood duniya phoonk dene ka hai! Sirf aapke liye… ’Tere Ishk Mein.”
It translates to, “Now after 10 years, again an anecdote has come; Kundan and this boy are the same; Just his mood is to blow the world! Only for you…’ in Tere Ishq.”

In a media interaction, Rai said that there could not be a better day to reveal his next project, Tere Ishk Mein, with Dhanush. The director stated that Raanjhanaa has a particular place in his heart, and the love and admiration it has received from fans all around the world is very gratifying.
Dhanush made his Bollywood debut with Raanjhanaa, which turned out to be a massive hit. He enjoys a strong hold on the Tamil and Hindi film industries. Thus, he is counted among the most popular actors of all time.
