Former Mumbai police commissioner Param Bir Singh Singh who was last week transferred and posted as Director General of Police, Home Guards, amid a probe by the NIA into the recovery of an explosives-laden SUV near Mukesh Ambani's home last month, filed a petition challenging his transfer before the Supreme court on Monday. He has levelled charges of malpractices against Home Minister Anil Deshmukh.
