Now it’s up to protagonist Gus and his fellow mates to reveal the mystery of the virus outbreak.

A fascinating pandemic fairytale

This Netflix fantasy series has colorful shades which differs from its dark and gory comic book. The series offers the perfect set of children’s stories slowly turning into today’s nightmarish world. Similar to the present COVID-19 situation it triggers the realism, the isolation, the panicked citizens who are more dangerous than the virus itself and the doctors on the quest to find the cure. It reminds us that we are living in the same world as represented in the series.

The Netflix show is produced by Robert Downey Jr which itself increases its value as he played the role of Iron Man in Marvel movies. It’s like a Marvel fame attached to a DC name. As the production budget is a little low therefore at some scenes the makeup looks fake but the simple and engaging story covers it all. The cast includes Christian Convery, Nonso Anozie, Will Forte, Adeel Akhtar, Aliza Vellani, Dania Ramirez, and many more.
