INDIA: The Bollywood King, Shah Rukh Khan continues to rule the industry for three decades. SRK has now proved that there is no shortcut to hard work. The 57-year old recently delivered a blockbuster movie like Pathaan, which continues to earn numbers on the big screen after weeks of its release.
The movie bagged Rs 1000 crore mark at the global box office. The fan-made star recently came into a one-to-one question-answer session on Twitter #AskSRK, where he gave unfiltered replies to his fans.
SRK replies to a fan asking about his retirement
The Jab Tak Hai Jaan actor wrote on his Twitter, “So far So good….#Pathaan For years we are doing #AskSRK let’s do one today where the questions are sweeter, irrelevant & fun maybe even what u #DontAskSRK for 15mins. No bad language, no personal meanness. Let’s go!! Happy hours (15 mins).”
The King of Romance responded, “I just sat at home and watched all the films that I could to become an audience again and not be a movie maker,” in response to a user’s inquiry about his routine during his hiatus from the movies.
Shah Rukh Khan will also be featured in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki and Atlee’s Jawan this year. The actor declared he has no plans to slow down and that giving up performing is not an option.
He further wrote, “I will never retire from acting… I will have to be fired… And maybe even then, I will come back hotter.”
Another user questioned, “You’ve played a wide variety of roles throughout your career. Is there a particular type of character or genre that you enjoy working on the most? #AskSRK.”
Khan instantly replied, “Now I like to play what I think people would like me to play…I have evolved as an actor, I think. My likes are diminishing.”
On the work front, post the grand success of Pathaan, the superstar is ready to astonish the masses with Dunki and Jawan.
