JAPAN: Spy x Family is returning for the second half of the first season. The official website of the anime revealed a new update on the upcoming episodes and characters joining the show.
Spy x Family received a new key visual and a release date for Part 2
The Spy x Family official Twitter account shared an update for upcoming episodes. The tweet read, ‘’New key visual for SPY x FAMILY! The Forgers return on October 1st.’’
According to the tweet, Spy x Family Season One Part 2 will start airing on October 1, 2022. Besides the release date, Season One Part 2 also received a new key visual. The poster features Anya in the centre, while Loid and Yor can also be seen at the back. The fan-favourite telepath dominates the key visual with her cute persona.
In addition to Anya, Loid, and Yor, the poster also depicts Bond, the pet dog of the spy family. Sylvia Sherwood, Fiona Frost, Franky Franklin, Yuri Brair, Becky Blackbell, Damian Desmond, and Henry Henderson are also featured in the key visual.
According to the Spy x Family official website, Spy x Family Part 2 will debut on October 1, and the first episode will premiere at 11 pm JST. In Japan, the new episode will be released every Saturday on TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, TV Hokkaido, TVQ Kyushu, TV Aichi, and TV Setouchi.
The current season can be streamed on Muse Asia’s YouTube channel in Southeast Asia. In India, besides Muse Asia’s YouTube channel, it can also be streamed on Netflix. Crunchyroll will also stream the upcoming episodes in North America.
The Season One consists of twenty-five episodes. Part one of the first season streamed from April 9 2022, and included twelve episodes which continued its run till June 25, 2022. Part two of the first season will stream the remaining thirteen episodes from October 1, 2022.
Spy x Family gained massive popularity among fans with its release. The manga also ranked 4th in the best-selling category from 2020 to 2021.
