UNITED STATES: Spider-Man: No Way Home is re-releasing in India with an extended cut, which means Spidey fans will be able to experience more of their favourite character. The extended cut is officially titled Spider-Man: No Way Home the More Fun Stuff Version. The Spidey film emerged as the box office behemoth at the Indian and worldwide box office. 

Spider-Man: No Way Home received a new poster

Sony Pictures India’s official Twitter handle revealed the new poster along with the film’s release date. The tweet read, “Cue the drumroll, everyone. #SpiderManNoWayHome is BACK IN CINEMAS in English and Hindi! Catch the extended version of this worldwide blockbuster exclusively on the big screen on September 2.”

On September 2, 2022, Spider-Man: No Way Home will be re-released in India with 11 minutes of additional footage. The studio has released a new poster featuring all three Spider-Men. It’s the first time Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield have appeared together on a poster. The key visual also stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock. The studio kept the appearance of all characters secret before the film’s release, which greatly helped build fan anticipation.

According to Sony Pictures India, Spider-Man: No Way Home the More Fun Stuff will also be released in Hindi and English. The film had a phenomenal box-office run-in India, grossing more than ₹ 200 crores. The superhero film ranked third among the highest-grossing Hollywood films in India.

Jon Watts’ directorial Spider-Man: No Way Home marked the third instalment in the Sony Pictures and MCU Spidey trilogy. The film brought together a new generation of Spider-Man fans by starring Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield. The superhero feature also brought nostalgia back to the theatres with the arrival of Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx, Rhys Ifans, and Thomas Haden Church.

Spider-Man: No Way Home also starred Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Benedict Wong, Charlie Cox, Tom Hardy, J. K. Simmons, and Tony Revolori. The film opened in Indian theatres on December 16, 2021, one day before the global release.
