INDIA: Southern superstar Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupati’s much-awaited film ‘Master’ had released in cinemas on January 14. Within one week of its release, the film has managed to make a business of around 200 crores. The film has shattered all the records by being an ‘absolute blockbuster’ even during a pandemic. Interestingly, it is Vijay’s fourth film that has managed to achieve this feat.
According to the reports, the film has collected 100 crores from Tamil Nadu alone in just eight days. Master has now become the first film to do such an exceptional business in the COVID-19 era.
Apart from India, the film was screened in Australia, UAE, and some other countries as well. Following the popularity of Master’s film, Murad Khetani, the producer of the Bollywood film ‘Kabir Singh’ has bought the rights of the film.

According to the reports, Khetani had gone to Hyderabad two weeks ago to attend the special screening of ‘Master’. After watching the movie, the producer brought the rights to remake the mass entertainer in Hindi.
The movie ‘Master’ is a perfect amalgamation of action and thriller. Even before its release, the film has been a hot topic for all social media debates. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Malvika Mohanan in lead roles.
