INDIA: Rising infections due to the COVID-19 pandemic have disrupted the lives of people across the country. During the nationwide lockdown, imposed in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, several migrants set out on foot to reach their homes. In such an adverse situation, Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has helped many people by providing food and other facilities. Hundreds of laborers were able to go back to their homes because of his efforts.

Sood has transported hundreds of laborers and students from across the country to their villages by bus and train during the lockdown. He had also provided employment opportunities and financial aids to the poor and needy students. Earlier, Sood had donated 1,500 PPE kits to the COVID-19 patients.
Now, Sood has published a book where he has shared his experiences of helping people across India. The title of the book named ‘I Am No Messiah’ was recently published in India. In this book, Sood combines the extraordinary experiences of his journey from Moga to Mumbai with the writing skills of veteran journalist and author Meena K. Iyer The book can be found on Amazon and Flipkart.
Sood believes that this book will inspire a person to stay strong in adverse situations. Recently, Sood announced the launch of his book by posting the cover page of the book on Instagram. Many Bollywood celebrities have congratulated Sood on the launch of his first book.
