INDIA: The much-hyped wedding of Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani has been postponed. The big fat wedding was previously scheduled to happen today, on February 6.
However, multiple media sources revealed that the vows would be exchanged on February 7 at the Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer. The couple has reportedly announced a no-phone policy at their wedding functions.
Sidharth- Kiara’s wedding reportedly to happen on February 7
Almost 100-125 guests, including several stars, high-profile personalities, and A-list directors, are expected to attend the wedding festivities. The wedding functions are in full swing, and guests are delighted by the grand traditional welcome. More than 70 luxury vehicles have been booked for the VVIP guests.
All the exclusive guests of the Shershaah couple are greeted by local Rajasthani folk dancers, and various video footage shows the guests enjoying the dance performance, where ladies wearing colourful lehengas and veils are seen dancing at the Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer.
As per reports, the adorable couple danced to some of their popular tracks, including Kala Chashma, Bijlee, Rangi Saari, Disco Deewane, and Nachde Ne Saare.
Rapper and singer Mishaal Advani, the brother of Kiara Advani, will reportedly perform a special song for the couple at their wedding. DJ Ganesh, who previously performed at Karan Johar’s birthday party, will also perform during the sangeet ceremony.
As per the current update, renowned designer Manish Malhotra has designed the outfits of the bride and groom for their big day; apart from that, custom-stitched cloths are made for the bride and groom’s family members.
Makeup artist Lekha Gupta will prepare Kiara Advani for her wedding day. Following the wedding, the couple will be hosting a wedding reception party in Mumbai on February 12, where they will invite media friends to attend as guests.
Reports suggest that the Mumbai reception for Sidharth and Kiara is most likely to be held on February 12. Additionally, they will be inviting members of the media, including Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh, to attend the reception as guests.
They want to share the happy occasion with everyone who has helped them along the way, especially the media.
