INDIA: The much-anticipated trailer of Shehzada is officially out, serving the right proportion of action, comedy, emotions, and drama. The Kartik Aryan-starrer film is a Hindi remake of Allu Arjun’s Telugu film “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo,” so fans have high expectations for the film.
In the last two years, Bollywood has struggled to impress audiences, with big-budget films failing to make money, whereas the South film industry has reached new heights. Kartik, on the other hand, single-handedly saved the entity of Bollywood by delivering a blockbuster film like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
Shehzada trailer brings out Kartik Aaryan’s comedic side
In Shehzada trailer, Kartik is seen playing the role of a middle-class boy who dreams to be rich and challenges everything that comes his way. The protagonist is named ‘Bantu’ and belongs to a rich family raised by Paresh Rawal in a normal living.
Shehzada stars brilliant actors like Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Ronit Roy, and Sachin Khedekar in the lead roles. Audience will witness the chemistry between Kartik and Kriti after a long time.
Kartik pulled off the character effortlessly. He is seen wearing a shirt, and denim, giving him a majorly rugged look. The 3-minute-3-second trailer gave instant refreshment, raising hopes for the movie.
The Freddy actor is well known for his comic timing; over the years he has proved his mettle to the world, and this time, besides comedy, he is seen doing action.
However, Shehzada takes a slight dig at nepotism and Kartik’s monologue, “Ameer bachchon ka yehi problem hai. Lekin teri galti nahi hai. Tune khilone maange, tujhe khilone ki dukaan mili. Tune doodh maanga, tujhe kheer mili. Wo bhi almond milk waali. Bhai, ise kehte hain nepotism,” is the cherry on top.
The monologue translates to, “Rich kids have the same problem. But this is not your mistake. You asked for Toys, you got toy shop. You asked for milk, you got Kheer (rice pudding), that too made of almond milk. Brother, this is what we called nepotism.”
Shehzada is all set to release this Valentine’s week, February 10, 2023. This movie will also mark Kartik Aaryan’s debut as a producer.
The big-budget movie is helmed by Rohit Dhawan and is made under the banner of T- series and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Allu Arvind, S Radha Krishna, Aman Gill, and Kartik.
