In the latest released song, Shakira slams her ex-partner Gerard Pique and his new girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti. The Colombian pop singer was in a relationship with Pique, who is a Spanish footballer (Barcelona, Manchester United, and the national team of Spain).

Shakira and Pique ended their 11 years-long relationship and separated last year. They also had two children together. Following their breakup, Pique, 35-year-old commenced a new relationship with Clara Chia, 23-year-old.

The newly launched diss track has gained huge popularity for its lyrics. The music track bagged more than 50 million views within 24 hours of its release, thereby becoming the highly viewed Spanish song on YouTube.

The Spanish song’s first line translates to, “Sorry, I’ve already caught another plane, I won’t be back here, I don’t want any more disappointments So much talk of being a champion and when I need you you gave me the worst version of you. “

The lyrics clearly make savage remarks about Pique, and in the subliminal line, Shakira also takes a dig, calling him a disappointment. The pop singer in the next line aims at the Spanish footballer’s relationship with his 23-year-old girlfriend.

The lyrics translate, “No hard feelings, baby, I wish you the best with my supposed replacement. I don’t even know what happened to you, you’re so weird that I can’t even tell you apart I’m worth two 22’s. You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo, you traded a Rolex for a Casio.”

Shakira ridicules Pique’s relationship with his girlfriend, comparing her (Clara Chia) with a Twingo and a Casio. In another line, she also talks about her ongoing tax fraud case.

She sings, “You left me as a neighbour to the mother-in-law, With the press at the door and the debt at the IRS. You thought you’d hurt me, but you made me tougher, women don’t cry anymore, women invoice.”

In the above-mentioned lyrics, the Colombian singer accuses Pique of recent tax fraud. In 2019, the Spanish footballer was earlier adjudicated guilty of tax fraud.

She concludes the song with, “It’s a wrap. Oh, oh That’s it bye.”
