The makers dropped the video of the song from Satyaprem Ki Katha and wrote on YouTube, “Presenting the song Pasoori Nu from the movie Satyaprem Ki Katha. Relive the Global Hit! Kartik Aaryan as Satyaprem and Kiara Advani as Katha.”

The song featured Kartik Aaryan and Kiara in a romantic mood, with some phenomenally picturesque mountains of Kashmir in the background. The actors were seen donning matching white outfits as they mouthed the lyrics, which were now recreated in Hindi.

The original song was written in Punjabi and Urdu. Rochak Kohli and Ali Sethi provided the music, while Gurpreet Saini and Ali Sethi penned the lyrics. Pasoori was the most-searched song on Google in 2022.

Fans went gaga over the original version. Now, as the makers chose to recreate the song, the reviews are quite unexpected. The song is officially out and fans have expressed their views on the recreation of Pasoori.

One user wrote, “Pasoori is intense. The emotion, the feel, the essence. Difficult to do justice to a piece like that no matter how good you are.”

Another user also added, “No one can beat Ali Sethi n Shae Gill’s craze in this song.” Given the response of netizens, it appears that the remake has failed to recreate the magic of the original.

Satyaprem Ki Katha is bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Sameer Vidwans; the movie marks the second collaboration of Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani after their 2022 box office success, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
