SOUTH KOREA: Samsung has officially announced the date for its highly anticipated Galaxy Unpacked event, leaving tech enthusiasts eagerly awaiting the latest innovations from the tech giant.
Set to take place on July 26th at 7 AM ET (4:30 PM IST) in Seoul, Korea, this year’s event promises to showcase some exciting new devices. The event will be broadcasted live on various platforms, including the company’s Newsroom, the official website, TV Plus, and the YouTube channel.
The highlight of the Galaxy Unpacked event is expected to be the unveiling of Samsung’s newest foldable smartphones, namely the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. These devices have generated substantial buzz and speculation within the tech community due to their innovative designs and cutting-edge features.
Samsung is widely regarded as a pioneer in the foldable phone market, and consumers are eager to see how the company will push the boundaries further with these new offerings.

By pre-reserving a product, customers will receive a Samsung coupon worth Rs. 6999, comprising a VIP Pass worth Rs. 1999 and an E-Voucher of Rs. 5000 to be used on samsung.com. It’s worth noting that the amount paid for the VIP Pass will be deducted from the purchase value of the eligible device.
For customers in the United States, Samsung is offering a $50 incentive for pre-ordering the product simply by providing their name and email.
As for the expected specifications of the Galaxy Z Flip 5, leaks suggest an upgraded 3.4-inch cover display, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a dual 12MP camera setup, and potentially an IP58 rating for enhanced durability.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is anticipated to feature a 7.6-inch foldable AMOLED display, a 6.2-inch AMOLED cover panel, a powerful 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 10MP telephoto camera, and a 12MP selfie camera on both the cover and foldable displays.
In addition to the foldable smartphones, Samsung is rumored to unveil the Galaxy Watch 6 series, boasting curved glass and improved battery life. Furthermore, the Galaxy Tab S9 series, including models like the Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, might make their debut during the event.
