INDIA: Bollywood Star Salman Khan, enjoys a wide range of fans from across the world. The Dabang actor’s fearless and bold attitude made him count among the best actors in the entertainment industry.
Khan’s fans never miss an opportunity to interact with their favorite hero; thus, they often gather outside his house to get a glimpse. However, as per the latest update, Salman Khan fans are no longer allowed to stand or gather outside the actor’s house.
The new norm is initiated amid Khan receiving anonymous death threats via various mediums. Salman Khan’s protection now consists of two assistant police inspectors and eight to 10 constables.
The actor also lodged an FIR against gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his assistant Goldy Brar to police in a report. Salman has been openly threatened by the two gangsters that they will kill him.
The reason Khan was targeted is linked to the blackbuck hunting case of 1998. The following actors: Salman Khan, along with his co-actors Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, and Sonali Bendre, were alleged to have shot two blackbucks in Rajasthan’s Kankani village. The blackbuck is a rare species, which the Bishnoi community praises as their ancestral god.
Besides this, a threat mail was received on March 18, which was sent to Prashant Gunjalkar, who is a close aide of Salman Khan. The sender was revealed to be Rohit Garg. The actor’s team filed a complaint against Garg, who was further identified as Goldy Brar’s associate. The sender revealed that gangster Goldy Brar wanted to talk to Salman Khan.
In a recent interview with media outlets, Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently inside jail, said, “Goldy Brar wants to speak to your boss (Salman Khan). Goldy Brar requests a meeting with your supervisor, Salman Khan. He must have seen the interview with Bishnoi; if not, force him to do so.”
“Let him speak to Goldy Brar if he wants the situation to be resolved. Let us know if he wishes to chat with us in person. This time, we gave you timely notice; the next time, you’ll just be stunned,” he added.
