INDIA: Prabhas’ much-awaited film, Salaar, has finally received an exciting big update. The Prasanth Neel-directed featurette is ready to receive the highly anticipated teaser.
Recently, Prabhas faced massive criticism over his film Adipurush. The film failed to entertain the masses and is struggling to bag numbers at the box office. Amidst all the chaos, KGF director Prasanth Neel will introduce Prabhas as “the most violent man” in the glimpse of his upcoming film.
Earlier reports have surfaced that a teaser for the Prabahs starrer will release within a few days, and given the official announcement from Hombale Films, Salaar will bag a teaser on July 6 at 5:12 am.
The makers also shared a new poster along with a teaser update. The visual is illustrated in Neel’s signature darker and greyish cinematic touch, evident in the KGF film series. The image showcases Prabhas clutching a stick-like weapon and facing a multitude of goons (in crowd) moving toward him.
Since the announcement, only posters have been revealed till now, which left fans with almost zero ideas of what the film will be about. Reportedly, Prabhas is going to play the titular character in Salaar.
Besides Prabhas, the star cast of Salaar also includes Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, who plays the character of Aadhya, and Jagapathi Babu.
Vijay Kiragandur has bankrolled the film under the banner of Hombale Films. Ravi Basrur has provided the music, and Bhuvan Gowda has handled the cinematography. If we look at the production and behind-the-screen team, all have worked on Yash’s KGF, which is enough to be hyped for this project. Neel is working on the post-production stuff, as the movie is almost ready.
The Prabhas starrer movie also promises high-standard visual effects with an unexpected storyline. The inside reports claimed that the camera work was done exceptionally well, making it one of the most expensive films.
The Prasanth Neel featurette will be released in theatres on September 28, 2023.
