UNITED STATES: Ryan Gosling, the Gray Man famed star, has expressed his interest in playing Ghost Rider in the MCU. In an interview with MTV News’ Josh Horowitz, Marvel CEO Kevin Feige responded about the Hollywood actor playing the character.

When asked about Ryan Gosling’s role as Ghost Rider, Kevin replied, “Gosling is unbelievable, he is amazing, and I’d love to find a place for him in the MCU.” The Marvel CEO’s statement, however, does not exactly confirm Gosling’s participation in the MCU but does imply that the famous Hollywood star may enter the Marvel universe.

Ghost Riders history throughout the character’s live-action appearance

Ghost Rider emerged as one of the most well-known Marvel characters depicted in comic books. The incredible anti-hero in Marvel comics is presented as a stuntman who is transformed into a spirit of vengeance, with a burning skull and a superfast bike. In 2007, Nicholas Cage starred as Johnny Blaze, aka Ghost Rider, in the first live-action rendition of the character. Despite the film’s terrible critical reception, the audience adores the rendition of their favourite character.

After a long wait, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance was released in 2012. This time, Nicholas Cage’s film failed to fascinate audiences and fell flat on the plot notion. Ghost Rider was later featured in the Agents of Shield as a reboot of the character. The series version explored Gabriel Luna as Robbie Reyes. Compared to Jhonny Blaze’s rendition, this version of the character had a flaming car instead of a bike.

Ryan Gosling recently starred in the lead role on Netflix’s The Gray Man. Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Dhanush, Rege-Jean Page, Jessica Henwick, and Julia Butters also joined the ensemble in pivotal roles.

The Gray Man chronicles the life of a Sierra agent, aka 6, focusing on the storyline in which his former colleagues are on the hunt for him. The Russo Brothers directorial is based on Mark Greaney’s novel of the same name, published in 2009.
