Rohit Shetty Meets with an Accident on the Set of ‘Indian Police Force’

INDIA: The Singham director, Rohit Shetty, who is popular among action genres, injured himself during the shoot of his upcoming project. Shetty is currently busy shooting for his upcoming web series, Indian Police Force.

The series features Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty, and Vivek Oberoi in lead roles. As per reports, the action filmmaker was shooting in Ramoji Film City, situated on the outskirts of the city.

Rohit Shetty continues the filming after his treatment

Currently, he has undergone minor surgery and sustained an injury on his hand; he was kept under observation at Kamineni Hospital in Hyderabad. However, the action director is discharged and continues his work.

As per the latest update, the action executive was shooting a car chase sequence and met with an unpredictable accident. Action movies require a lot of physical hardship, and there are a handful of directors like Shetty who have kept the genre alive in Bollywood.

Last year, Shershaah actor Sidharth Malhotra too sustained a minor injury during the filming of Indian Police Force in Goa. The actor took to his social media handle and exposed the cuts he got while shooting for the action movie.

Not only that, in August last year, Shilpa Shetty too broke her leg during the ongoing shooting by the Indian Police Force. This implies that the series is packed with intense hand-to-hand combat and a lot of stunts.

Shetty prefers to shoot many action sequences of his films on his own in order to maintain the level of perfection in his films; Malhotra has already shown a glimpse of it on his Instagram account.

Rohit Shetty is all set to expand his cop universe, which consists of Singham, Singham 2, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi. The film stars Singham, aka Ajay Devgn, Simmba, aka Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar, aka Suryavanshi. All stars are expected to appear in cameo roles in the much-anticipated series.
