UNITED STATES: Rick and Morty’s fifth season wrapped with a startling disclosure, and the final episode left all viewers obsessed with its theme. Finally, Adult Swim has announced the upcoming season’s premiere date.

The show centres on Rick and Morty’s classic adventures

The sitcom serves as animated series that is definitely not for kids. The R-rated sci-fi series follows the adventures of technological genius Rick Sanchez and his idiotic yet kind-hearted grandchild Morty Smith. The duo embarks on a humorous and perilous journey across the galaxy, parallel universes, and everything associated with higher scientific concepts.

Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon created the adult sci-fi sitcom for Cartoon Network’s night-time cable TV channel, Adult Swim. The series’ voice cast includes Justin Roiland, Dan Harmon, Chris Parnell, Spencer Grammer, Sarah Chalke, and Kari Wahlgren.

Rick and Morty’s official Twitter account announced the release date of the new season. The tweet read, “Ripped and ready-Season 6 coming September 4th.” The post included a hilarious poster of the sci-fi duo posing with their six-pack abs.

The whimsical sci-fi spin on the animated series delighted critics. In 2020, the show won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program. The series has amassed a tremendous fan base since the premiere of the pilot episode. The sci-fi sitcom usually incorporates Rick and Morty’s classic escapades, mixed with easter eggs and references from popular films, as well as a unique parody twist that is fascinating and enjoyable to watch.
