UNITED STATES: Beyoncé’s seventh studio album, Renaissance, was released on Friday, gaining positive reviews from critics. Following her previous magnum opus work, the newly released Soundtrack has received widespread acclaim from music fans.
The 28-time Grammy Award winner composed the music track to describe her state of mind amidst the pandemic.
Beyoncé released the artwork on her social media handle
The gifted singer shared the artwork for her solo album on her social media accounts. Renaissance emerged as her first solo album, released 6 years after her magnum opus, “Lemonade.” The album’s title alludes to the deeper significance that serves as a fitting tribute to Lady Godiva’s legendary Renaissance paintings.
The 19th-century paintings of British artist John Collider depict Godiva, a noblewoman noted for riding her horse naked with her hairs covering her body. The artwork for the new album also features a similar look to Beyoncé, who is depicted on a glassy and shiny horse.
