INDIA: A new Redmi A series smartphone is set to be released in India, according to Redmi. The Redmi A1 will be the name of the first smartphone in the line and will undoubtedly go on sale this month. The business tweeted the future phone’s design as well as the release date.
The Redmi A1 will go on sale on September 6 at 12 pm in India. With the Redmi 11 Prime Series, the phone will debut.
The smartphone is anticipated to enter the entry-level price range. Although the price has not been disclosed, it is anticipated to cost roughly Rs 10,000 in India.
Redmi A1 specifications
The phone has a water-drop notch on the display and seems to adhere to the fundamental design. It has a vertically positioned dual camera system. On the back side, an LED Flash can be seen next to the dual camera system.
The phone has a sim tray on the left, a power button on the right, and a volume rocker on the right. The Redmi A1 is marketed as having a clean Android OS and a design with a texture resembling leather.
A basic camera setup and an HD+ panel are probably included. In addition to this, the smartphone recently showed up on a number of certifications. The quad-core Redmi A1 processor—likely the MediaTek Helio A22 chipset—will ship with the device. It will supposedly offer 32GB or 64GB of storage space and 3GB of RAM.
The Redmi A1’s battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh. The existence of rapid charging has not yet been formally confirmed. Expected colour options for the smartphone include Black, Green, and Blue.
The smartphone will probably compete with other devices in the affordable market made by Samsung, Infinix, and Realme.
Redmi 11 Prime series will replace Redmi A1. This will give rise to the Redmi 11 Prime 5G and another model that also has 4G connectivity.
