At the forefront of the Realme GT5’s capabilities is its exceptional 240W fast charging feature. The smartphone presents two fast-charging alternatives: 240W and 150W.

On the pricing and availability front, the 150W variant, equipped with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, is competitively priced at 2999 yuan (approximately Rs 35,000).

Furthermore, the 150W variant with a more generous 16GB RAM and 512GB storage carries a price tag of 3299 yuan (approximately Rs 37,000).

Contrastingly, the 240W variant exclusively offers a configuration that boasts 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, carrying a price of 3799 yuan (approximately Rs 43,000). Interested buyers can currently pre-order all three models in China, with the official release date set for September 4.

The Realme GT5 will be available in two distinctive color choices: Flowing Silver Mirror and Star Mist Oasis.

Key specifications of the Realme GT5 encompass a 6.7-inch 144Hz 1.5K flat T7+ OLED screen, sourced from Tianma. Notably, the screen supports 2160Hz PWM dimming and achieves an impressive peak brightness of up to 1400 nits.

The smartphone, which uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, supports Whirlwind memory engine 2.0 and offers a significant range of up to 24GB of RAM and a generous 1TB of storage.

An interesting tidbit is that the Realme GT5 claims the distinction of being the first Realme phone to be granted Pixelworks’s IRX gaming experience certification.

Distinguishing itself further, the Realme GT5 incorporates an independent X7 display chip, which purportedly supports an impressive 144 fps frame rate, making it compatible with a roster of 110 mobile games.

Addressing thermal management, the device features an ice core cooling system and employs the efficiency of graphite material to dissipate heat more effectively.

On the photography front, the smartphone houses a triple-rear camera setup. This ensemble comprises a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor, complete with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera.

With support for Wi-Fi 7 technology, the Realme GT5 caters to the modern connectivity demands of users. The highlight, of course, is the 240W fast-charging variant’s 4600mAh battery, which astonishingly claims to complete a full charge in just nine minutes. In comparison, the 150W variant comes equipped with a larger 5240mAh battery.
