INDIA: The S. Shankar directorial RC15 starring Ram Charan emerges as the most awaited film. Since the announcement and the legendary Tamil filmmaker joining the director’s chair, fans have eagerly awaited the Pan-India film release.
The Tamil star SJ Suryah has now joined the RC15 ensemble cast. Ram Charan also welcomed the versatile actor for his arrival to the team.
The Makers of RC15 Announced SJ Suryah’s Arrival in the Ensemble Cast
The Sri Venkateswara Creations’ official Twitter handle announced the arrival of SJ Surya to the team. The tweet read, “Versatile actor @iam_SJSuryah joins our stellar cast! Welcome on board sir @shankarshanmugh @AlwaysRamCharan @advani_kiara @yoursanjali @MusicThaman @DOP_Tirru @ramjowrites @saimadhav_burra @SVC_official #SVC50 #RC15.”
Ram Charan welcomed SJ Suryah on Twitter for joining the film’s ensemble cast. The Tollywood star tweeted,” Welcome onboard #RC15 @iam_SJSuryah Sir.”
The makers also released a poster starring SJ Surya. The key visual features the Tamil star in a black coat and pants with stylish shades. The versatile actor looks dashing in the formal outfit.
RC15 marks the working title of S. Shankar’s directorial film starring Ram Charan in the lead. Kiara Advani also stars as the female lead in the upcoming political drama feature.
SJ Suryah is also confirmed in the team now. Anjali, Jayaram, Sunil, Srikanth, Naveen Chandra, Nassar, Raghu Babu and Samuthirakani round up the ensemble cast in prominent roles.
In addition to RC15, S. Shankar is also working on another much-awaited film Indian 2. The film will star Kamal Hasan and Kajal Agrawal in the lead. The filmmaker also shared the update for the upcoming film on Twitter.
The Tweet read, “Hi Everyone, Indian 2 and #RC15 will be shot simultaneously. Ready to shoot the next schedule of #RC15 from the first week of September in Hyderabad and Vizag! @DilRajuOfficial @AlwaysRamCharan @SVC_official.”
RC15 emerges as S. Shankar’s first Telugu feature in his filming career. Karthik Subbaraj penned the story while the filmmaker handed the screenplay. National Awardee Tirru, well-known for his work in the Surya-starrer 24, provided the cinematography. Dil Raju bankrolled the movie under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Thaman S composed the music, and Sai Madhav Burra joined the team as a dialogue writer.
