With an impressive star cast comprising Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and the renowned Yash from “KGF,” this ambitious mythological film had faced a roadblock in its production due to the search for a suitable actor to portray the pivotal character of Raavan.
According to credible reports, Ranbir Kapoor has been finalized to essay the role of Lord Ram, while Alia Bhatt is expected to breathe life into the character of Sita. Speculations about Deepika Padukone bagging the lead role had circulated earlier, but recent sightings of Bhatt at the DNEG office have given rise to fresh speculations.
A trusted source close to the project shared insights, stating, “The pre-visualization of the film’s world has already been meticulously carried out, and the team is currently conducting extensive look tests with Ranbir Kapoor, aiming to achieve the perfect portrayal of Lord Ram. Alia Bhatt’s visit to the office was primarily to ensure that the appearance of Ranbir aligns seamlessly with the character’s essence, as nailing the visual aspect is a crucial first step before proceeding with the physical transformation.”
