INDIA: Superstar actor Ram Charan, renowned for his blockbuster performances, has now added a new role to his repertoire – that of a proud father. In a sensational turn of events, Ram Charan and his stunning wife Upasana Konidela have become elated parents to a beautiful baby girl.
The Tinseltown heartthrob was recently spotted at a top-notch hospital in Hyderabad, setting tongues wagging about the reason behind his visit. Now, the cat’s out of the bag!
The hospital itself has confirmed the delightful news through an official bulletin, stating, “It’s a baby girl for the lovely couple, Miss Upasana Kamineni and Ram Charan Konidela, born on June 20th, 2023, at the Apollo Hospital in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. Both mother and baby are in excellent health.”
It’s hard to believe that the power couple, who have been married for a decade, took their time before embracing the joys of parenthood. The news of their pregnancy was finally unveiled in December 2022 through a captivating social media post, adorned with the blessings of Shri Hanuman Ji. The post declared, “With immense joy, we announce that Upasana & Ram Charan are expecting their first child. Love and gratitude to Surekha & Chiranjeevi Konidela, Shobana & Anil Kamineni.”
Since then, Ram and Upasana have celebrated their impending arrival with multiple extravagant baby showers held in Hyderabad and Dubai.
They even jetted off to the United States for a glamorous Oscars 2023 appearance and a well-deserved “babymoon” to make unforgettable memories before their little princess arrived.
With the arrival of their baby girl, the Konidela family’s happiness knows no bounds. The legendary actor, Chiranjeevi, has now taken on a new role himself – that of a proud grandfather.
In a past media interaction, Ram Charan expressed his excitement about becoming a parent, saying, “We are overjoyed, a little nervous, and, to be honest, quite anxious too. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or anxious, Ram is my rock. He always calms me down and says, ‘Alright, let’s figure it out.’ I’m certain that Ram will be an actively involved parent.”
As Ram Charan basks in the bliss of fatherhood, he also has exciting projects lined up on the professional front. Fans eagerly anticipate his collaboration with acclaimed director Shankar in the action-packed film ‘Game Changer,’ where he will share screen space with the charismatic Kiara Advani.
