INDIA: Raksha Bandhan, starring Akshay Kumar, is scheduled to premiere in theatres on August 11. As the release date approached closer, the film’s developers debuted a new song, “Done Kar Do,” which acted as a pure jingle traditionally heard in Anand L. Rai movies.
Since the release of the Raksha Bandhan trailer, Anand L. Rai’s directorial vision has captivated the audiences. As a family entertainment film, the drama guarantees a comic tone with a social message.
Navraj Hans, Himesh Reshammiya, and Irshad Kamil developed soothing music
Compared to newly released Bollywood films, Anand L. Rai’s vision has simpler nuances that allow the viewer to connect with his stories on every level. The calming melodies accompanying the symphony of the characters’ emotions add to the relatability aspect. Done Kar Do, following the release of Tere Saath Hoon Main and Kangan Ruby, adds another calming jingle to the film’s repertoire.
Navraj Hans provided his voice to Himesh Reshammiya’s symphonic music, which blends with Irshad Kamil’s lyrics to create a pleasant musical mixture. On top of the trio’s music ensemble, Akshay’s enthusiastic performance infuses the environment with vibrant emotions.
Raksha Bandhan will centre on the bonding between a brother and sisters, brilliantly depicted in the trailer. The film will also focus on societal issues such as dowry, and by analysing Anand L Rai’s vision, the story will present a solution to the problems that exist in today’s society.
Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar will play pivotal roles. Sadia Khateeb, Smrithi Srikanth, Deepika Khanna, and Sahejmeen Kaur will be the film’s central focus. This is Akshay’s second collaboration with Bhumi, following Toilet: Ek Prem Katha in 2017.
Anand L Rai contributes his directorial vision to Raksha Bandhan, providing a superb combination of stories for the family entertainer. The film is slated to be released on August 11, competing with Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha.
