WORLD: As the world continues to valiantly fight the pandemic battle, almost every family now has their near and dear ones, reeling under its impact.  People have been affected, nations are in turmoil, and economies have been devastated.  Yet the human spirit endures.  Heroes in the form of frontline workers, healthcare providers, and countless souls endeavoring to help have exemplified traits of strength and resilience. In these calamitous times, it is extremely important to remain positive, inspired, and spread hope. As a prayer for the wellbeing of all humankind, JKYog is organizing an Akhand (non-stop) Sankirtan Mahayayajna or the sacrifice of the devotional chanting of the holy names of God.  The 24-hour Mahamantra Kirtan Mahayajna will be from Saturday, 15 May 2021, 5:30 AM IST till Sunday, 16 May 2021, 5:30 AM IST.

This event features a special inaugural live address, to initiate the Mahayajna, by Swami Mukundananda, continuous 24-hour kirtan of Hare Ram, Hare Krishna Mahamantra, Poorna ahuti, and concluding chanting and address by Swamiji.  Entire Mahayajna will be LIVE telecasted via Zoom for everyone across the globe.

“I had moved from India a couple of years ago seeking job opportunities.  However, my relatives still live in India.  My concern, therefore, continues to stay for my family and the brothers and sisters of my motherland.  Prayer is the least that I can do from my side. It is said that there is no power higher than that of the chanting of God’s names, and I am sincerely going to participate in this magnanimous event”, expressed Nagaraj Chokkavarapu from Virginia.

Karuna Sharma from Bay Area mentions, “Whenever I am stressed out or burdened with work, the one thing that has always helped me out is chanting and meditating upon the names and forms of God.  Meditating upon the lotus feet of my favorite deity Shree Radha Krishna has always endowed me with great courage, strength, and peace.  It gives me a feeling that God is with me and He is protecting me constantly.  Partaking in this 24-hour Mahamatra Mahayagya is definitely going to boost up my morale and I hope it uplifts and provides hope to all the participants as well.”

Swami Mukundananda, founder of JKYog, International authority on Mind Management and best-selling author added “The second wave of Coronavirus is spreading rapidly.  It is extremely important for everyone to take all safety measures.  This is also the time to fold our hands in front of the Almighty and chant the Divine Names of the Lord, with utmost faith and reverence.  JKYog devotees across the globe are coming together to conduct this Mahamantra Kirtan Mahayajna. Through this event, JKYog aims to spread positivity and enable everyone to engage their minds in God.”

This 24-hour non-stop Mahamantra Kirtan Mahayajna is a humble attempt by JKYog to bring peace to the heart of the families who lost their loved ones in this pandemic. For those who are in constant struggle with their minds and fear in their hearts, this event will bring hope by diverting the focus towards chanting the name of supremely powerful Almighty Lord.
