PM Modi Completes 9 Years in Tenure, Expresses Gratitude via Tweet

INDIA: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked 9 years of coming into power. Back then, on May 26, 2014, the longest-serving CM of Gujrat got elected as the PM of India. Then he subsequently took the oath of office for his second term on May 30, 2019.

Marking the special occasion, the PM took to his Twitter and expressed his gratitude to the nation. He wrote, “Today, as we complete 9 years in service to the nation, I am filled with humility and gratitude. Every decision made, and every action taken, has been guided by the desire to improve the lives of people. We will keep working even harder to build a developed India. #9YearsOfSeva.”

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) tasted success in the General Elections to Lok Sabha under the leadership of PM Modi.

Earlier on May 27, the PM acknowledged the love and respect he received during his service tenure. He wrote, “Since morning, I am seeing many tweets on #9YearsOfModiGovernment in which people are highlighting what they have appreciated about our government since 2014. It is always humbling to receive such affection, and it also gives me added strength to work even harder for the people.”

According to BJP, over the last nine years, the country has seen remarkable development in every sector, with the credo of putting the nation first.

Now, The Bharatiya Janata Party organized a month-long campaign to celebrate the ninth anniversary.

To commemorate the completion of the nine-year term of the NDA government at the Centre, the BJP will launch a large “Mahajanajagaran” campaign across the nation, particularly in the states that are close to holding elections, such as Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana.

The party will cover every Lok Sabha constituency during this month-long campaign. The campaign will commence on May 30 and it will conclude on June 30.
