INDIA: In a strategic move to fortify its market presence, Pladis India has appointed Pawan Jagnik as the Head of Marketing, effective January 2, 2024. Pawan, a seasoned professional with over six years at Britannia Industries, is set to play a pivotal role in scaling up the business of renowned brands, particularly McVitie’s, in the Indian market. Reporting to Ritesh Gauba, General Manager India, Pawan will spearhead the marketing function, leveraging his extensive experience in the biscuit and cake formats.

Pawan brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously worked with notable companies such as Britannia Industries, CavinKare, and Cargill India. A management graduate from IIM Kozhikode and an engineering alumnus of DY Patil College of Engineering (Pune University), Pawan is well-equipped to navigate the diverse challenges of the Indian market.
