INDIA: Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra has been making headlines for quite a while now. However, the reasons are not related to her professional front; instead, her rumoured relationship with AAP leader Raghav Chadha caught all the limelight.
The duo have been spotted very often together outside a cafe or airport. Rumours milled that the two were planning to tie the knot after they were spotted together in Delhi. Some sources claimed that Pari and Raghav would engage anytime soon.
Parineeti remarked that the media was continuously covering her personal space and that there was a fine line between reporting on her life and ‘crossing the line by being too personal or insulting’.
The actress added that she would refrain from providing any additional information regarding her personal life if it were ‘not necessary’ to do so and only provide clarification if there is a risk of misinterpretation.
Talking to a renowned public platform, Parineeti said, “I were nobody, or they were not interested in me, that would probably mean that I did not achieve what I tried to achieve as an actor because a successful actor will be famous, will be a part of everybody’s homes, a part of living room conversation, a part of the news, a part of the news channels, a part of digital media, a part of the paparazzi culture, and everything.”
The Bollywpp star feels gratified being an actress. However, she felt that stardom had bought her a heavy bag full of unnecessary attention, which she felt uncomfortable with.
She said, “If it ever occurs, I will merely provide a clarification in case somebody misunderstood something. I would have viewed myself as a failure if the world had not shown attention. If the general public is intrigued, my career must have been successful. That is what I think, then.”
