Pakistani Cricketer Shahid Afridi Tested COVID-19 Positive

Shahid Afridi disclosed that he has tested positive for COVID19. On his Twitter account, he said that he wasn’t “feeling well since Thursday and was having body ache badly,” and it was determined that he tested positive for this deadly virus.

Regarding this situation, The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) tweeted:

While reacting on Afridi’s tweet, Cricketer Muhammad Hafeez said that Afridi is a fighter by nature. “I am sure you will fight with the virus and will defeat it soon.”

Additionally, Kamran Akmal, Azhar Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Wahab Riaz, Imad Wasim, Ahmad Shahzad, and many others tweeted and prayed for his speedy recovery. Meanwhile, Gen Qammar Javid Bajwa ask Shahid Afridi to take precautionary care for his health, and the army chief prayed for Afridi’s swift recovery.

Fifi Haroon, the journalist, also prayed for Afridi’s health, adding that Afridi has done more for this country and those afflicted by corona in the last few weeks than many have ventured to do in a whole lifetime.
Shahid Afridi, the all-rounder legend of Pakistan Cricket team, retired from international Cricket in 2017, ending a notable and sometimes disputable 21 year career.
