INDIA: Oppo, the renowned technology company, has officially announced the release date for its highly anticipated Reno 10 series in India. The series comprises three smartphones: the Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro, and Reno 10 Pro+.
With a focus on powerful batteries and fast charging capabilities, Oppo is set to captivate the Indian market with its latest offerings. The company has revealed intriguing details about the battery and charging technologies of the Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro+ ahead of the launch event.
Launch date and exciting features
Oppo has confirmed that the Reno 10 series will make its grand debut in India on July 10, creating a buzz among smartphone enthusiasts across the country. During this highly anticipated event, all three phones in the series will be showcased, alongside the introduction of the Enco Air3 Pro wireless earbuds to the Indian market.
One of the most striking features of the Reno 10 Pro+ is its powerful 4,700mAh battery, which boasts Oppo’s remarkable 100W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge technology.
According to Oppo, this cutting-edge technology allows the battery to charge up to 50 percent within a mere 10 minutes, while a full 100 percent charge is achieved in an astonishingly fast 27 minutes.
Moreover, a quick five-minute charge can provide users with up to two hours of uninterrupted gaming time. These claims have been independently verified by TÜV Rheinland, as stated by Oppo, instilling confidence in the device’s charging capabilities.
The Reno 10 Pro, another variant in the series, features a slightly smaller battery capacity of 4,600mAh but still impresses with 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge technology. Users can expect a full 100 percent charge in approximately 28 minutes, ensuring minimal downtime between charges.
In terms of battery specifications, the Reno 10 model reigns supreme with its 5,000mAh battery capacity and support for 67W fast charging. With this configuration, users can enjoy a complete charge in approximately 47 minutes, providing added convenience in their daily lives.
Enhanced features and innovative technology
Oppo’s commitment to optimizing user experience is evident in the Reno 10 series. The inclusion of the SUPERVOOC S power-management chip in all three devices is a notable addition. This advanced chip enhances discharge efficiency from 97.5 percent to an impressive 99.5 percent, resulting in an additional 37 minutes of talk time.
Additionally, the SUPERVOOC S chip is designed to identify and safeguard against faulty or counterfeit chargers, ensuring the safety and longevity of the devices. It can even detect the presence of water in the charger port, instantly cutting off power to prevent potential damage.
Addressing user concerns regarding charging in cold environments, Oppo has incorporated an Ultra-low Temperature Charging Mode in the Reno 10 series. This innovative feature enables the devices to charge effectively even in frigid conditions ranging from 0 degrees to -25 degrees, further enhancing the reliability of the smartphones.
