OPPO Announces Launch of F23 5G in India, Key Specs Confirmed

INDIA: On May 15, OPPO will launch its newest smartphone in India, the F23 5G. In anticipation of the launch, the company has released a microsite that outlines the phone’s key specs and features.

The F23 5G is set to feature a 120Hz refresh rate on its punch-hole display, with a noticeable bottom chin and a pill-shaped camera module on the back. This camera module will house three sensors in two rings, with a primary 64MP rear camera. The front-facing camera will be a 32MP sensor, perfect for capturing selfies.

Under the hood, the F23 5G will feature an unspecified Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device will be powered with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging, allowing for quick and easy power-ups.

While the remaining specs of the F23 5G are currently unknown, it is speculated that the device may be a rebranded version of the OPPO A98 5G recently launched in China. If so, the device may feature a 6.72-inch full-HD+ LCD with the Android 13 operating system.

The F23 5G will be available in two colour options, Black and Gold, and will be sold via Amazon India. The online retailer has also released its own microsite for the device, confirming that it will be sold on its platform.

More information about the OPPO F23 5G will be revealed at the launch event on May 15. With its impressive specs and features, it’s sure to be a device worth checking out for anyone in the market for a new smartphone.
