UNITED STATES: Christopher Nolan’s directorial Oppenheimer, gets a high-octane trailer. The clip captures every aspects of filmmakers creative vision and the performance array of talented star cast. The upcoming film aims to showcase the life of the nuclear physicist J Robert Oppenheimer.
The 3-minute trailer gives a sneak peek into the movie having the finest star cast. The movie is written and directed by Christopher Nolan and made under the banner of Universal Pictures, Syncopy Inc., and Atlas Entertainment. The movie is slated to release on July 21, 2023.
The trailer opens up, showing that nuclear physicist Robert Oppenheimer is undergoing immense pressure as he aims to make the US the first country to develop the atomic bomb during World War II, letting other countries like Germany feel insecure.
The first nuclear bomb is ready to be tested when Robert Oppenheimer exclaims, “This is a national emergency,” as seen in the trailer.
Besides this, Cillian Murphy, an Irish actor popular for his role in Batman Trilogy, would be seen playing the titular character. The other star cast includes Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Florence Pugh, and many others.
The trailer featured Florence Pugh as psychiatrist Jean Tatlock, Michael Angarano as Robert Serber and Josh Hartnett as US nuclear scientist Ernest Lawrence. Benny Safdie as theoretical physicist Edward Teller.

Interestingly, the upcoming movie is based on the Pulitzer critically acclaimed prize-winning book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J Robert Oppenheimer by Kai Bird and the late Martin J Sherwin.
