INDIA: The Om Raut directorial “Adipurush” continues its successful box office run, despite facing criticism from cinephiles regarding the poor dialogue delivery and underrated visual effects. Amidst the controversies, director Om Raut made headlines by extending his best wishes to Nitish Tiwari, who is preparing for the release of the Hindu epic “Ramayana.” It has been reported that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have been cast to portray the characters of Ram and Sita.
During a recent media interaction, Raut praised Nitesh as a talented filmmaker and expressed his admiration for his work, particularly mentioning the critically acclaimed film “Dangal.” He regarded the film, along with Aamir Khan’s performance, Nitesh’s writing, and direction, as phenomenal. Raut eagerly anticipates the release of “Ramayana” and stated that he, like every devotee of Lord Ram, is looking forward to it.
He emphasized the importance of storytelling around the Ramayana, considering it the greatest history of our country, and encouraged making and watching films that depict this significant narrative.
Furthermore, Raut emphasized the significance of multiple films being made on the Ramayana and expressed support for any other film on this subject. He stressed the importance of telling this story as many times as possible and ensuring a wide audience can experience it. Regarding his own project, “Adipurush,” scriptwriter Manoj Muntashir confirmed that certain rectifications would be made in the movie script and would be reflected in the theaters in the coming days.
