INDIA: Okinawa Autotech, a leading Indian electric vehicle manufacturer, has launched updated versions of its popular electric scooters, the Praise Pro and iPraise+, with improved ergonomics for a more comfortable ride.
The new models come with a 40mm down frame that delivers better foot space, allowing riders to enjoy a more relaxed ride.
The new e-scooters come with the AIS-156 Amendment Three battery pack and eight attractive new colours.
Okinawa Autotech has already started delivering the new Praise Pro and iPraise+ to customers who have booked the e-scooters online or at Okinawa dealerships across India.
In India, the company has sold over 200,000 units of the Praise Pro and iPraise+, making them one of the most popular electric scooters in the country.
The Praise Pro and iPraise+ have a maximum speed of 56kmph and feature disc brakes on both wheels.
The Praise Pro boasts a 2.08kWh lithium-ion battery pack that provides a range of 81km per charge, while the iPraise+ comes with a 3.6kWh lithium-ion unit that delivers a maximum range of 137km on a single charge.
The time needed to charge the Praise Pro and iPraise+ is three and five hours, respectively.
In terms of features, both models come with central locking with an anti-theft alarm, keyless operation, a “find my scooter” function, a USB mobile charging port, and motor walking assistance (front/reverse motion).
The iPraise+ version includes geo-fencing, immobilization, trips, secure parking, tracking and monitoring, maintenance and insurance reminder, battery info, speed alerts, and driver score.
